Alliance Atlantis Communications was a Canadian company that operated in the film and television production and distribution industry. It was formed in 1998 through a merger of Alliance Communications and Atlantis Communications.

The company produced and distributed a wide range of content, including popular TV shows such as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "CSI: Miami," and "Da Vinci's Inquest," as well as films like "Requiem for a Dream" and "The Wedding Planner."

Alliance Atlantis also operated specialty television channels, such as Showcase, History Television, and HGTV Canada. In addition, the company had interests in various international ventures, including distribution partnerships with companies like Lionsgate Entertainment.

In 2007, Alliance Atlantis was acquired by CanWest Global Communications and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners. The company was subsequently divided into separate divisions, with the television assets being sold to Shaw Communications and the film assets being acquired by Goldman Sachs.

In 2012, the remnants of Alliance Atlantis were rebranded as eOne Television, a division of Entertainment One that continues to produce and distribute television content.
